Our Mission
To provide a safe and secure environment for our students so they feel comfortable and maintain a sense of belonging. Through meaningful activities and play, our students can form friendships and grow socially.
As educators, we believe it is our duty to nurture and guide our students’ innate curiosity and desire to learn. We don’t think children are meant to be molded, but individuals who we’ll help grow.

Want to take a tour?
We are located at 2 Westford St, Chelmsford, MA 01824 inside the beautiful First Parish Unitarian Church.
Although we are located inside of a Unitarian church, we do not have any religious affiliations. We welcome and respect students and families from all walks of life.
Our daughter absolutely LOVED going to Little Acorn Pre-school. We loved the home school feel of the beautiful clean facilities and wish we would have had more years at this great preschool. She is in kindergarten now and was very prepared thanks to her great preschool experience. We highly recommend LITTLE ACORN. Thank you, Gina, Kristin, and Mr. Rega. We miss you!!

COVID 19 Updates and Guidelines
We want to keep you and your loved ones as safe as possible. Please follow the guidelines below:
Preparing at home:
- Please do not send in children who are sick, or if anyone in your family is sick. Have them get their rest.
- Take your child’s temperature at home each day.
- Please have sunscreen already applied to your child before they start their day.
- Wash your own hands and your child’s hands before drop off, pick up, and upon returning home.
- All families must fill out the daily health check form before dropping off their child.
Packing for each day
- Bring a sign with your child’s name on it and some tape.
- Have a mask for yourself and one packed in your child’s bag.
- We will not be providing snacks or lunches this summer. Do not pack food that needs to be heated in the microwave.
- Please do not pack any nuts or nut butter for your child.
- Please pack 2-3 bottles of water for your child.
- Please limit the number of personal items your child brings in. Children will need to be able to carry their belongings inside by themselves.
- Lunches, snacks, bags, and personal belongings must be labeled with your child’s first and last name.
- Please supply a separate bag to hold children’s wet clothing and towels.
Dropping off and picking up your child:
- No parents are allowed in the building.
- Please place or tape a sign of your child’s last name on the passenger’s window for drop off & pick up.
- Please stay in your car during drop off and pick up times. Call or text us upon arrival and we will walk your little one out to you.
- We ask that families do not use our facilities (playground, sandbox,) or congregate after you have picked up your child.
